[TED E-BIKE DIY] Making cheap E-bike battery

I find the E-bike battery is too expensive so I try to make one.


This picture is the previous_test_version battery but not stably enough

Now I make the new version battery.

-First, the Li-ion battery buy from the taobao, it is very cheap. (18650 2400mah 5C 3.6V Lion 6.5 CNY/PCS)

-Putting all battery into 18650 bracket. If feel setup difficulty. You can use soft hammer  haha

-Watch out!
1.The electric potential difference should not exceed 0.05V.(boooom😛)
2.When you do the spot welding ,don't short the battery it will explosion💥

-Staring spot welding process by self making spot welder.

-Finish the spot welding , setup and solder the battery protector to the batteries.






















-Finally, Using the thermal film to package the battery
